Founder Story

Frida Tillman is the Founder and Executive Director of KoMel Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to helping women navigate perimenopause and menopause through accessible education, community connection, wellness resources and advocacy.

She is also the creator of The 2:55am Room, a free private live text community created for women who find themselves awake during the night and want somewhere to connect with other women navigating the realities of perimenopause and menopause.

Frida created KoMel from a simple belief: women should not have to piece together support on their own. Whether someone is looking for credible information, preparing questions for a healthcare provider, trying to understand workplace options or simply needing to know that she is not the only woman awake at 2:55 in the morning, there should be a clearer path to support.

That belief shapes KoMel’s approach. The Foundation is being built to connect women with practical resources, meaningful community and information they can use to make informed decisions about what is right for them.

Through KoMel Foundation and The 2:55am Room, Frida is creating spaces where women can find information, connection and a next step.

Why KoMel

Support should be easier to find.

I created KoMel because I kept coming back to one question: where does a woman go when she needs help navigating this stage of life?

She may need credible information. She may need to understand what questions to take to her doctor. She may need workplace support. Or she may simply be awake at 2:55 in the morning wondering whether anyone else understands what she is experiencing.

KoMel is being built to make those next steps easier to find.

The goal is not to tell women how to navigate menopause. It is to give them better access to information, resources and community so they can make informed decisions about what is right for them.

The Idea Behind KoMel

Make the next step easier to find.

KoMel Foundation was created around a simple question: where does a woman go when she needs help navigating perimenopause or menopause?

The answer may be different for every woman. She may need credible information, questions to take to her healthcare provider, workplace resources, practical wellness support or simply a community that understands what she is experiencing.

KoMel is being built to make those next steps easier to find.

The Foundation does not tell women what decisions to make. It provides information, resources and community so women can make informed choices about what is right for them.
